Enrollment Dates

Enrollment for the next school year begins on January 1st for currently enrolled families.  Applications for returning families begin on February 1st. Applications from the public will begin on February 16. The application period will continue until the class is full. Waiting lists will be started for any class that exceeds 18 for the three year olds, and 22 for the four year olds.

Admissions

  • All children must be at least three or four by December 1st, for the three year-old and four year-old class respectively.
  • Children are required to be potty trained.
  • Cherry Hill United Presbyterian Church and Preschool do not discriminate based on gender, religion, or race.
  • To enroll, simply submit a completed Application Form, along with a non-refundable application fee. Details are on the Application.
  • Once your child has been accepted into the program, you will receive a confirmation letter and enrollment package which must be completed prior to the first day of school.  Among the forms in this package:    
  1. Welcome to CHUP Letter!
  2. MDHS (Michigan Department of Human Services) background check for any adult who will work in the classroom.  Instructions on how to complete and MDHS Form to bring with you.
  3. Criminal History Statement.
  4. Health Release Form, properly completed to conform to regulations established by the State of Michigan and the CHUP Co-op Preschool.
  5. State of Michigan Child Information Record.
  6. Appropriate Dress Form
  7. Teacher Information Sheet
  8. Photo Waiver
  9. Job Preference Sheet
If you cannot access these forms, you can get them as part of the enrollment packet.  Other forms, such as the emergency card and health form, will be provided to you by our Membership Chairperson.  A copy of your child's birth certificate is also required for admission.
